Washing organic clothes

Always check individual care labels. If in doubt, choose the cooler, the gentler method of washing and use 'green' non-bleach washing agents. We recommend washing at 40°C and tumble drying on a low heat. Expect a little (up to 5%) shrinkage on the first wash, because being organic cotton, the clothes are not chemically treated.

The clothes are dyed with eco-friendly dyes. These are just as long lasting as the harmful dyes used on conventional products, but they will fade if powerful detergents or bleaching agents are used.
Please do not mix dark colors with light ones for the first few washes. As there may be some dye bleed, because they are not treated with chemical color fixatives.
For the first wash, add ¼ cup of vinegar to the final rinse, this will help to set the color and resist fading or bleeding.
